Hi gang- I'm brand new, and likely a year away from beginning to build a teardrop. I do a lot of tent camping as it is, but I hit the 40-year mark and am getting tired of sleeping on the ground. I figure if I build a teardrop then the kids can enjoy the tent, and we can sleep in the trailer. I'm a collector of vintage items, be it furniture, clothing, decor, etc. Obviously teardrop trailers are the best looking and coolest campers going! I saw youtube clips for the Gidget trailer out of Australia, but until I win the lotery there is no way that I can drop $20,000 + on a toy. So I hope to tiner anway with found objects and garage sale finds to create a camp-worthy trailer.
Looking forward to engaging with you, and mining the forums for advice and encouragement.
Thanks, happy to be on board!
Chris
