I'm building a teardrop from scratch. I'll pretty much be making it up as I go aside from a basic design. Where can I find aluminum at a reasonable price to skin it? I have found several places but the shipping cost is going to be about as much as the aluminum. Just wondering if there are any hidden gems out there with free shipping?

How big of a town do you live in? Get on the phone and call the local steel dealer. Two-bits says you can order it through them.

Where are you in Minnesota? I just went through the same search in building #2 teardrop, but I am close to the twin cities. I don't know any places with free shipping, but I can direct you to a couple of places depending on what dimensions you need.

I'm from Minnesota! Garelick Steel has white, and thought Mill finish. They carry the white in 4 x 8ft and 4 x 12ft. Go to their website, look under fish house specials. Good luck! Enjoy the build!
