New & Happy to be here!

Postby al&anne » Mon Jan 09, 2017 7:23 am

Hi,
We are in our "grandparent" years, and have been eyeing tear drop campers for years. When our daughters were young, we camped in a tent, then a very rudimentary pop up, which didn't really "pop" up, but it was off the ground! :) We've had a few actual pop-ups... and a few small travel trailers. Our favorite was a Shasta. Anyway, we are not handy with tools, so even though we would have liked building, it just wouldn't work for us. Recently we bought a 5x8 modified cargo trailer, and we are so happy. Will post pictures after learn how. - al&anne

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn about different types of travel trailers.

Welcome to the Forum Al & Anne and back to small trailering... :applause:

Like you and others, I tired of having to set up camp in a rain ar late at night, or both...
I finally built a Cargo Conversion and was into more fun than I thought... Check out my Gallery, link below)

We are from Minnesota, where do you folks hail from...

Hope to see you at a friendly campfire sometime...
Happy Camping & Building,
John (JC)
