I'm in SA also, can relate. Since my homebuilt will be small and light (5x8 x 50" tall) I will not permanently install AC, but based on what I've learned here, I will build an enclosure for my window unit and just run a hose to a vent for cold air. Will be quieter that way and I should not need to worry about it being super efficient based on my small area
Lots of options for AC, what are you working with? What is your idea for building?
