Hi guys (gals too of course)
I have been sulking around on here for a while but I have (almost) decided to build a teardrop. Here is my plan:
1. General shape of Oregon Trailer Do-Drop
2. No rear galley: saves construction time and cost and we can cook on a camp kitchen under an easy up.
3. No rear galley saves space for a bunk for our 2 year old. This is a key part of the build.
4. Very basic electrical with a few outlets and a couple of USB outlets, Fantastic Fan also.
5. Roof strong enough to hold CVT roof mounted tent.
The basic idea is a simple trailer that will allow my family to grow and keep using it, small enough to pull with whatever car we have in the future. I'm thinking around $2,000 total for the build and then of course buy the CVT tent later.
What do you all think? Is this dumb? Unreasonable? Major flaws here? I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
Al
