Hola from a Newbie!

Postby G2tP » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:40 am

Hi all-really excited about this forum. Please be patient with me as I'm sure I'll make some goofs as I get used to the format.
Why am I here? Just got my first (used) trailer below. A sweet Little Guy Silver Shadow. It's a bit light on extras, is having some electrical issues with some lights turning on and others not, and also have to get my wagon setup to actually tow it. Just a few things ;)Image

Located in the town of glitter, Los Angeles. Actually just a few miles east of downtown so maybe I can call it Glittertown East. Looking for trips up the 101 to Santa Barbara or East into the cactus land.

Welcome to the forum. It looks like you have the perfect teardrop for what you want to do. I am also a So Calif teardropper, located in Wildomar, near Lake Elsinore. The teardrop gatherings in So Calif are few and far between, but there is a great one in the Spring, at Lake Perris, just off of I-215. I attend every year, usually with my home-built 1/2 Nelson Woody. Swing on down this way, and we can share a cup of coffee and tell tales about teardopping.

The end of Feb there is a gathering in Mesa, AZ. Check out the Southwest forum for details.

I like it! Just a drop onto I60 then I215. About 60 miles from my house without wheels. Is there a specific thread for the Lake Perris gather?
