Back after a lot of years

Postby DaveInConesus » Sat May 19, 2018 8:41 am

I was looking into building a teardrop about 10 years ago then the wife decided that it was too small and we needed a larger camper. Now we are back to no kids and retired so watching the truck say 7 mpg when towing is not a good thing. I did find my old login (taylorcraft078) after I had requested a new one. Since I got rid of the airplane (1941 Taylorcraft BC-12d) I decided to go with the new account. Yesterday I bought an old Starcraft Starlite Meteorite pop up to use as a donor vehicle. I will be picking that up on a trailer on Monday. My objective is to build something fairly light to pull with our Outback for quick trips to the Adirondacks. We are in the finger lakes region so it is 250 miles or so to where we like to go.
