Hey guys, I've been lurking for a little bit now gathering info and ideas... I know I want to build something from foam.
I started out looking at slide in campers for my dually truck, but then I started looking at popup campers, and then tear drops(the idea being I could tow it with ANY of my vehicles). I stumbled across this forum and saw tons of really cool builds and decided I could do that!
I really want to build a teardrop in the future, but since I already have a fullsize truck bed to utilize I am thinking of getting my feet wet by building a foam camper shell. Nothing fancy, just a generic shell to cover the truck bed for storage and napping on long trips.

This way I figure I get some experience working with foam first, and I get a truck topper out of it. I'm sure I'll be asking lots of silly questions in the foamie section in the coming months
