Newbie from Miami

Picked up a Silver Shadow last year--figured I try one before going through the effort of building my own.

Now I've got the bug! Once I finish fixing up my 65 El Camino, I'll be looking to build something custom and hoping to get some good insights from everyone here.

I really like the Silver Shadow...It has about 90% of the features I want. Although I probably wouldn't have paid as much as the original owners did--this clean used one showed up at a nearby dealer at half the original price.

And tricks I've learned from forums like this one have really paid off--such as tilting it back slightly to allow the a/c to drain properly; or learning about the mystery switch that turns on 3 small fans and cools the condenser side of the a/c.

The only real problem was a leak around the galley hatch--but that was easily solved with some butyl rubber sealant.
