Hi from the U.K.

Hi All,

Matt here from the U.K.

I'm new to the world of tiny campers since my old motorhome went to the scrapyard in the sky.

I've embarked on a build of the Slidavan by Woodenwidget and someone on another message board suggested I sign up here to share my progress with you guys (are you here AeroNautiCal?).

This is the first time I've attempted anything like this, and my build experience is limited to throwing up a few shelves and a little bit of garden decking, so this could be interesting

Thanks for having me.

Hello Matt,

Welcome to the Forum, I appreciate you coming over, and yes, I'm here.

You are literally the first person since the Designer to have posted about building a Slidavan, and I'm certain that you will inspire many others to appreciate the design merits and begin their own builds.

Regards,

Cal.

Thanks Cal.

I see you're in Stokey. I used to live round the corner on the Finsbury Park / Crouch End border...small world eh?

I started my build journal here -> Friendly Neighbourhood Slidavan

Finsbury Park/Crouch End is indeed just around the corner!

Thank you for the link, I think your build will be closely followed and well appreciated.
