Hello from Kentucky!

Postby GARDude » Wed Nov 08, 2023 6:00 pm

I have stumbled upon this forum while doing some research on how to build a tiny camper. I am definitely a newbie but very determined to get this to happen. The biggest issue that I'm facing with is constructing one that's light weight, I'm rocking an Ecotec 1.5L Turbo I4 160hp 184ft lbs engine currently, and aiming on using this to tow. please any tips or guidance would be great!

Welcome to the asylum!

We have an entire section here dedicated to building with rigid XPS foam insulation. A teardrop built this way will be well under 1000# and likely under 500#.
