Hello from southern France, south of Toulouse. This looks like a really friendly and helpful group, and it's so great to be able to read advice from people with the same hopes and ambitions. My wife gave me the Big Woody stencils and instructions as a pre-retirement present and I'm finally turning my mind to getting it built.
A big challenge for me - apart from everything being in inches and feet - has been finding suppliers in Europe. A big thank you to Jan-Willem who pointing me in the direction of what seems to be the only supplier of hurricane hinges in Europe (known in France as "charniere type yoder"). They only sell 5m lengths so I'm looking for two people to share the cost. Also just found a teardrop base seller: cevennes remorques.
