Hi from Devon, England!

[Slida-mod-build]

Been a longtime lurker looking for inspiration for a build and finally taking the plunge! As the username suggests, I have the slidavan plans and am going to use them to build a modified version. Main differences I plan include:
- 180cm width to allow for a wide bench and slide out double bed at the front
- severely modified lifting system involving air craft cable and pulleys to lift all 4 corners evenly from a boat winch inspired by one of the goalie builds I saw here (can’t quite remember the name!)
- small 12v electrical system inc a couple lights and usb charging
- larger worktops with additional storage beneath
- non-ply based exterior skin on the panels, I haven’t decided on what yet I was thinking Frp but it seems hard to come by in the uk! Other options ACM or Abs plastic.
