Free for Life - Never Pay Your Cable or Satellite For Television Again! 1byone Omni-directional RV TV Antenna can pull in all of your local news, sitcom, kids and sports programs in full HD to any digital-ready TVs, VHF/UHF/FM, VHF: 47-230MHz;UHF: 470-862MHz; FM: 88-108MHz AM: 520-1710KMz.
• Sturdy Mount - The compact mount offers superior wind resistance smaller than traditional RV antennas.

Would this work as good, better, or not at all?

I will of course wait and see how yours does first. Maybe just fine.
It looks to be very similar. Same basic shape and similar specs.

Tommy, this is what the 24" looks like mounted from a little further away. It is a good size for double duty inside and out. I think you will like it. I actually have two mounts inside so I can watch TV while in bed in the loft or when lounging around in the zero gravity chair below the loft bed. I just pull the pin and move it.

Cant wait. That is very cool what you did there. I will have to figure out how to do that maybe if its possible at this point. Maybe come from underneath. Through the floor. Is That on a mount or just setting there? Seems I would get another mount and attach to trailer exterior?

I plan on bringing this in the house during the off season as I think it would melt in the trailer. Seriously. Do you? Maybe you rig does nor get as hot as mine.

Look at my thread. There are some pics there. It is mounted and I made the mount from a lock hasp and a barrel lock slide. It is very small and does the trick. About $13 in hardware. I used stainless so hopefully no rust.

My TVstays in the trailer, but I don't think mine gets as hot as yours inside. In any case, just look at the storage temp specification , and as long as you are not exceeding it, you should be fine. I'd be more worried about long term effect of the humidity.

yes the humidity too.

I may send that mount back. it was only $14.00. I need an easy way to remove the TV for storage.

this one for $44.00 has a mounting plate that the bracket slips into. Two screws and just lift it up and out.
What do you have in the trailer Don. Brand and model # when you get the time please. The one that's coming is garbage I think.

Lets see what you ordered. I modified mine by removing a bolt and making a pin at the swivel joint closest to the TV at the bracket. That is the only reason it removes very easily. In any case, I'll see if I can dig up the info.

That looks nice. The one I have is not as easy. I actually have two mounts inside, but all you would need with that is additional plates . I wonder if it is possible to get one mount and a few mounting plates ? Might swap my setup out. Nice.

I just may order this one. It comes with two brackets and apparently I can order a third. Will look nicer than the home made one on the side. It will just be a small aluminum plate on the side. Wish I had seen this sooner. Thanks Tommy!

Edit... just ordered. When I get the details in the box, I will order a third mount bracket. This will be much better for me.

This is shaping up to be a disease! Never done.

Don I almost ordered that right off but started to read the reviews. Not good. I will wait and see what you think. I need to read through your thread but I see what you did there on the outside for the TV mount. . Much to think about. Every thing will be here today so I can get started. See what kind of signal I get and then maybe mount the antenna. Need a cable cover again. Maybe giant recreation world has one plus the dicor and butyl tape.

So it goes.

I saw the reviews on the on the knob. That is so typical. I will epoxy them like usual with some JB plastic weld when they do fail... and they will. I was most interested in the 2 quick release mounts that come with it and the ability to get a third.

Yeah I ordered one too. Its the best out there for what I need. Maybe able to modify with a trip to ace or epoxy. Good luck! :D

I think I may take tomorrow off maybe to get started on it all. Lights, Tv, and antenna.

Don does the tv antenna cable connection stay outside? Please. That 5 inch piece of cable coming off the antenna. How would you weather proof it? It seems to short and you would have to drill a 1/2 hole to poke it in side>
