I don't know if I'm going to do anything more to the outside. Decals would prevent easy touch up painting in a flat white when needed.

I used the roofing coat on the roof only. I rolled it. The Henry roofing paint can be rolled so that's what I did.
The Etrack makes things so versatile and easily changed out for another setup based upon my needs. I'm sure you'll see the same thing.
I kept mine up at about 18 inches. That allows for me to slide totes and many other items under the bed/couch. The bed being in three sections means that the back section can be storage during the day. The front section becomes the couch back....
Also.. if you screw a piece of plywood to an underside...you can have a shelf beneath the middle section which would be like hidden storage to most people... or an optional section to increase shelf storage ability.

I have filed away lots of ideas gathered here so mine won't be all my ideas but it will be all mine.

My next project is a a shower stall and toilet combo that has a built in gray water tank that can fit beneath the third section of the bed. a daytime use item.take up the third section and add the surround walls and Walla.. you're ready to wash your ass and shower at the same time. LMAO

Any idea what the weight of the trailer is when it's ready to be camped in?

well the empty curb weight is listed at 1300lbs. without paddlin gear.... I'd guesstimate I'm somewhere are 2400 or maybe 2500 lbs.
My heaviest one item is the refrigerator, followed by the battery. Then the lumber for the cabinets... and the lumber for the Etrack Bed/couch. The rest of the gear normally packed ready to hitch and roll probably adds up to few hundred pounds. Cause I keep a portable A/C ducted through the floor -- weighs app. 64 lbs. Consider microwave, coffeepot and other kitchen accessories around 150lbs ( cause I like to be as comfortable as possible.) Besides if wife and I don't have coffee brewing before we get out of bed we're both very very grouchy campers that are not nice to others. LMAO
Towing capacity of the Explorer with towing package is 5000lbs so I'm well within that range.

Ah but I"m working on pre-cooling the refrigerator for the trip down. I can add some ice packs and it'll keep most stuff cold till I plug it back in.
Plus we all have to keep our cordless tools batteries topped off for camping trips.

We're back from our week long beach trip.
This was our campsite setup:


We spent our time shell hunting and paddling the coastal creeks in the area, Cycling Edisto Beach Island, SC.

We had TOO Much fun.

A nagging problem I had on my last trip... was a freqently breaker tripping. I had so many things inside the camper on 110.
phones, ipods charging. sometimes a laptop charging up. Fridge, meals we had a microwave and the AC running.
Since it only happens when the microwave and all the rest were on camping...
My solution ... rather than buying a higher amp WFCO box, for now, was to run another shore line in it's own outlet to another inside outlet for the AC.
I think that's going to take care of it. I'll let ya'll know next time I pull it somewhere to campout.
This will also let me run the AC specifically from a Generator I plan to carry on the cargo rack I plan to install on the back of my CTT.

You were tripping the breaker in the the converter or tripping the breaker at the camp site? You should have two 20 amp spots in your converter box. Should should be plenty if your only on 30 amp service. You might just need to move the loads around. As in don't have the microwave and the AC on the same breaker. Things like Hair dryers, coffee pots, microwaves, ect pretty much have to be rotated.. As in turn one off to use the other. 30 amps sounds like a lot, but its really not if your trying to run everything you would at home. Just a small 900 watt microwave will pull over 8 amps alone.

The breaker tripping was inside on my converter.

I have front center/right side on one breaker and front center/left side on the other.
Fridge and right side on one breaker which also ran some of the rechargeables.
Ac and Microwave and all was on the left side also charging some phones and the coffeepot's endless running.
I DID have more than my usual items plugged in.

I would think it was just overloaded if I remember correctly you are suppose to only load a circuit breaker to 80% of it's capacity.
15 amp breaker would allow a 12 amp constant draw
I'm sure you will figure out a way the stand alone circuit for the fridge will go a long way in solving your problem.
I like your camp set up and it sounds like you had a fun relaxing stay.
we are headed to Baltimore wednesday GF is still working so we can only go when she gets off work.
I will get me a camper this crap of trying to find a hotel/motel sucks
you lug in the suitcases at every stop and if the room is on the second floor I have a hard time going up and down the stairs.
much easier with a self contained camper.

Perhaps. problem with the WFCO I have is it's only enabled to hold two breakers.

I installed a 20amp breaker to replace the 15amper. that with the capability to run an entirely separate line to the AC power receptacle should fix the problem.

This past weekend I picked up one of those Magic Screens from Walmart , and installed it yesterday. cut to length. seems to work. giving it a real try in 2 months when we go back to the beach.

Also added a few more wall mount baskets for personal items. They sure come in handy.

Im sure you already know this but just to throw it out there for others reading. It's fine to replace the 15amp breaker with a 20 as long as all the wiring is 12 gauge
