Yes there is a vent tube on the top of the tank. I have a hose that is right behind the wheel and used a very fine screen on it to keep bugs out.

Great job on the rear door! Its given me some ideas on hiow to add a screan door.

It looks lockable, secure and well made; also like your holding tank idea ... more ideas.
