The paint is from Home Depot. It is there house brand ennamel that they can color to match what you want.

My main TV is ford explore V8. But I also tow it with my dodge dakota

The shower curtian rod is elec. conduiant (sp) 1 10 foot length and 2 90 deg corners. The round mounts on the wall.. I don't know what they are called but this is a close up of them

I have two cords to bear the weight.

Here is a section of the wall that is made to cover the a/c hole when unit was removed for shipping ( knife to show thickness)

Cost... Well the shelter part was $550. I have seen them go for $300-$800 depending on condition, items inside, or where they are at in the USA. The trailer was off CL for $300, tires $140, springs $40, rear drop down stabilzer $44, window $18 off ebay (used), foam for beds $200, 2 deep cell battries $150, odds and ends ( stell, wiring, lights...) $250 or so, solar panel and controler $150.... So I have about $1900 in it but some things are used other places ( battries in boat, solar cell at barn to keep battery charged on tractor..)

I could have done something cheaper in hind sight. But I am very happy with it.

And you don't see many pull up beside you at a stop light :o

I think between 1200-1500 lb. When it was on my flat bed trailer I could push it around by myself ok.

mj,

Well, look at it this way: At least you're not paying to store all of them at some storage lot every month for years on end! $>
My goal...

I know that rig!!

Postby ho-do » Wed May 26, 2010 2:30 pm

First, this is my first posting, so Hello everyone. Second, I was in the army back in the early 80's and spent many an hour couped up in one of those rigs as a Radio Teletype Operator (RAT Rig). Just so you know, we had a secret comsec device in there that we were to destroy using a thermal type granade if the enemy was about to capture us. Sleep well!

Well, if you ask my wife, she will say that I have dropped a few thermal bombs in it after eating campfire chilli and drinking beer :applause:

Edit for spelling- its hard( and dangerous) to drink bear
