Here are some pics. of said awning in action. It is 10' Long x 8' Wide and just cranks in and out easy as pie. BTW I love it and for 146.00 shipped I love it more!

I wanted a cover to keep it out of the elements when not deployed and abate some of the wear and tear when traveling. Made this one from a piece of vinyl gutter and some end caps. I just fabbed some mounts. nothing fancy. bolted to studs and to the wall/roof support. Also made some supports for the arms to rest on and be secured when awning is closed and in transit. You can also get or make support rods for that front edge when opened. Haven't needed those yet. Mine arrived quick but the box was beat to hell. There was some slight mostly cosmetic damage so I called the company and they had an almost complete new awning on my door step in 2 days, no charge. It was only missing the fabric. They said to keep both for spares etc. Excellent customer service, Best I've ever had. VIDA XL is the company I worked with.

Yeah, I picked that up in March I think. They probably just wanted to keep inventory moving so they were blowing them out. But hey, Here is some good news and bad news. Good news! I just saved you 43 bucks in less than a week!

Bad news, not available now. .. :( ... But keep watching and sign up to be notified. The price may keep going down and they may get you one if you are interested. Their customer service was outstanding. You might call them and see what they can do. Tell em' McDave sent ya. They'll say "Who?".

Do not know if you ever thought about a bag awning? You can pick a nice quality one up for about $175 or less. Of course, they take a little more effort for one person to put up. It can be done in about 10 minutes solo or less than 4 minutes with 2 people. I had one on my old CTC.. I will see if I can find a pic.. will edit with pic if I have it.

The poles and awning l roll up and zip inside the awning bag also attached to the awning rail. Trying to find a pic of it not deployed. I will post that later.
