I think you'll find that both sides of that product are foil faced. I'm using R Max that's shiny on one side and blue on the other but both sides are foil. I don't know if the shiny side is more or less effective as a radiant barrier in a CT, given that there is no air gap in the walls.

Scomi21, Howdy;

By now you've probably found out that a #2 Roberson (square bit), will work just as well as
a fancy-schancy 8 point bit.

Haha yes I did figure that out after wasting 45 minutes trying to find the damn bit at home cheapo. You live and you learn! Currently just have the passenger side of the v to insulate then I'm moving onto paneling for everywhere but the nose. I'll wait to panel the nose as I need to build my cabinets in the nose.

Wife and I have narrowed vinyl flooring to the 3 options listed. I'm indifferent, option C is what she prefers but not by much.....and would likely coordinate with anything I'd build in terms of cabinets in the nose.

Otherwise in our Snapchat poll option B is winning! I'll keep plugging awayImage

Yes I will insulate ceiling and do white vinyl or luan. After the walls are done I'll transition to ceiling. I'm leaving the nose unpaneled as I'm building lower and uppers that will just cover up any paneling. I'm hoping to find some super clearance stick on backsplash for that area as I'll have a pump sink set up. I'm looking to get the essentials done so we can start using it and will add on the luxury items as I have time. Actively researching solar from a battery maintenance standpoint as well as boon docking. I'm planing on having some shore power options as well but again I'm looking to get this thing set up so I can install my etrack bed and start using it!! :)

Does this look like the right stuff for the ceiling? How are you guys installing? 3/4" self tapping screws?
