Unhook the bungee cord and lay it inside. it's not glued so it comes apart and stores in my electrical cabinet.

Really nice job on the TV and antenna. And you can't beat the price. :D

Isn't it nice how everyone can build to their needs and also borrow (or steal  ) ideas from each other?

Nice antenna I'm a ham radio operator and we built yagi antennas for ATV amateur television
one thing we did was change the reflector, the end piece from a square [ ] shape to a round ( ) shape which gave us a little gain
which is the all important portion of an antenna.

Nice setup Larry!

Thanks for the screen door review, the wife keeps pointing out that commercial to me on the TV, and we wondered if it would work or not.

Cheers

You have some nice ideas there.
I have a question on the e-track you have.
How long is each piece of e-track the bed sits on?
How many 2x4 do you have to make up the bed?
What did you use to fasten the e-track to the wall?
Did you have to go through the wall?
How thick are your walls where the e-track is installed?

I want to have a bunk bed setup with e-track and before I order it all I want to make sure I get all the piece necessary. I am too concerned about having a sofa setup as I have space in my 7x14. I did want to setup the bunk beds with a queen below and double above. There is some concern at the moment of having one or both bunks falling. At top capacity there will be 4 adults. Two on the upper and two on the lower.

Thanks,
Andrew

The track I got initially was 5foot sections from Northern Tool Store.http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200366533_200366533
I picked them up with the lumber holders http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200332585_200332585. 2per 2x4. It takes 6 = 2x4s to make my three bed sections. It creates a California King size bed in my 6x12. I made my bed in three sections for picking up and moving around. Just lift out of the lumber and stack it and the plywood. At first I had it all screwed together by sections but that proved out to be not so good a move for me. Now I can move and stack as needed to suit my uses.
now I just use 3/4 plywood on wood dowels I set into the lumber to hold them in position for the bed.
My track is screwed to my steel studs. and then I just zipped in 3/4" screws for additional support but I know it;s mostly just for filling in screw holes.
I had to predrill each stud hole for the screw to follow.
My walls are about 11/2 thick inside wall to out side.
I think this is the only pic I have showing my Etrack installed.

You can see I purchased 2 short pieces of Etrack from Tractor Supply to make the back of the couch as an after thought later on.

Appreciate your sharing, Larry.

I'm not a welder so I'll probably adopt some form of that tongue deck. :applause:

My tongue deck has come in handy for many things. Sometimes it's generator spot. Others it's outside cooler rest. It's where we lock up the bikes at night on campgrounds. It also comes in handy to put short support on for a table top I have that can go there if it's not on the side next to the sink. :)

I have not done much to our camper last few months but use it a lot.
We've taken many trips to the beach and the Lake for paddling, biking and fishing.
What we've invested in the camper has really paid off well.
However... I'm getting really tired of that Queen sized air mattress.
the bed frame we formed will fit a California King.. So I'll be getting one of those soon in FOAM and cut it into three sectionals for when we convert the bed into a couch. I think that will make the nights much nicer.

Larry,

Ant and flying insect spray are always on our list of things to take along in the CT, along with lots of repellant. 8)

Ants as pests seem to be the biggest problem often when I'm camping. Something about electrical things draw them.

We went out friday for another three day camping trip. Things seem to be going smoother and smoother as I get used to how we pack it up, set it up and where we store needed items.

Larry, I see that you pull your 6x12 with an explorer. I am considering a different tow vehicle. Right now I have a 98 Dakota with the V6, which is marginal for my 6x10. Is the explorer doing the job?

Thanks
