Already thinking of changes to do this winter.

1.) Will be the front cabinet. My woman already hit her head on it pretty hard the first trip out.
Im probably going to build something a bit higher but the whole width.
Gonna have to research on ways to keep it lightweight and hinges for the doors.

2.) Get the sink functioning using a foot pump.

3.) Wire up some shore power.

We've done well without 12volt, using puck lights that usually last a few seasons.
I may wire up some colored LED strips and use a small battery for those.

Making room in the shop the last few weeks to park the trailer inside.

So far, we a really happy with the trailer.

Working on the new tow rig. Mounted the police push bar , painted the grill black , the shell is color matched and did a test tow with it.

Even Max has tested the back seat. Image

It seams easier to tow and more stable.
I need to do upper ball joints and tires before it takes over tow duty.
We have one last major trip for the jeep planned. Simply because I may need serious 4wd on this trail.

In the next few weeks im gonna do a series of testing overnight winter temps.
I have 2 heaters to test. One is a heater buddy and the other is an electric heater.
Also a electric blanket and in-insulated floor vs. insulated floor tests.

Might also test hot water bottle vs. hand warmers in the sleeping bag.

One thing I know for sure about winter camping is , go to bed warm. Way easier to get to sleep.

Standing around the campfire at night with frozen feet equals a miserable night.

So far it's been 20° at night here.

i learned from living on a sailboat on the west coast that the best way to use an electric blanket is to sleep on top of it. nothing like crawling into a warm, dry bunk after a full day of being cold and wet
:)

Great tip . I'll try that.
The first tests will be in the backyard since the trailer is outside.
Once I get the insulation underneath I'll go camping.
Not sure yet on the camp location . Maybe somewhere closer like 5-mile or the west desert.

Will wait until after the holidays cause I dont need to get sick attempting this.

Modstock, Howdy;

Might try doin' a search for 12v electric blankets if you haven't already. I did the
same as onehoser only in an OTR truck for several years.

Tested the electric heater .
It is 23° outside / same in the trailer.
Turned it on and within an hour it was 68°.
It also has a thermostat.

Being couped up at home my wife said , can we go camping.

How did you attach the insulation to underneath the floor ?
