Thanks Guys!
I hope you like today's do'nz as much as I do, I am kinda psyched about my final 3 lights being up and done!!! Yay, I also think they turned out pretty dang cool.

Started by cutting the ends off a 2" pvc coupling. This coupling has had one end cut and is marked for cutting another one.

These LED puck lights fit perfectly in a 2" pvc coupling.

After they are cut and cleaned up, I put a 5/8" hole in them.
Image

Painted them copper and run a bunch of 1/2" copper pipe as conduit to them. The pvc is screwed to the
board from the top with 2 #4 screws.
Image

It was a bit of a puzzle threading all the wire and making sure everything was on the string.
Image

Couldn't help myself, had to get a pic after the first leg was done.

All three lights on! :D

I’m taking some serious notes from your build! I like! I also plan to do some surface mount wiring.

That is a long frustrating story!

I ordered my 6X12 Featherlite back in the middle of November 2017. Still not here. I gave them $1300 deposit in good faith.
I’ve talked to a total of about a dozen different people between the dealership (Golden Gait trailers in Concord NC) and factory (Universal trailer in Iowa). I’ve gotten consistent broken promises and lip service and passed on to someone else until they quit communicating. My trailer was actually built on the 7th of February, it’s been sitting at the factory 960 miles away ever since. They are charging me $1100 delivery fee, and I’m sure the are just figuring a way to maximize there profits in that process. They initially told me customers were not supposed to take delivery of trailers at the factory, I’ve since learned that was another lie. Hindsight, I would have definitely driven up and picked it up at the factory, but they kept acting like it was going to ship just any day and I didn’t want to take a chance crossing paths if I went up there since they were so bad at communicating and letting me know the truth about what was going on.

Last word is I should be able to go to Concord NC and pick it up on Monday the 19th, so we shall see if they stick to their word on that. I’m optimistic, but not holding my breath. Still a 6 hour round trip for me. You would think if I’m paying a $1100 delivery fee they could at least deliver to my town. If I had it to do over again I would definitely order a different brand.

Hopefully I will soon be able to contribute to the forum and have many questions no doubt.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Real bummer. Sending some good karma your way,. Takes a lot of research and you have to beware of some of the resellers being middlemen. I drove 1600 miles to GA to pick up mine and they forgot to put a window in. They did make it right and sent me a window and funds for install.

So how are you securing the wood backing for your outlets, did you just press fit them in the insulation?

I'm about to add mine but I was going to go stud to stud for support, but would like to maximize insulation vs wood support like you.
