Last few weeks have been too hot to work on the trailer. Been in the 60's after work this week so I dug back in. I received the new cap for the damaged awning one the end of last week. I have not swapped it out yet. I pulled the wheels to get new tires. The tires on the trailer when I bought it were all dry rotted bad. They spare was flat. I got 5 new Towmax radial tires sized STR 205/75/R15 mounted and balanced for $380. It was a hell of a deal. I took a couple pictures of the trailer with the wheels off as it looked pretty funny

Took a day to get the tires back so I mounted the storage box on the tongue. I used 2"x2"x1/8" aluminum angle for the mounting tabs. They were fastened to the frame with 2 #14 stainless self tappers each. A 1/2" Stainless bolt will hold the box to each bracket.

I put some Vycor window and door flashing tape over the top of the frame rails to ease rubbing and rust potential

Image

I positioned the tank mount and did the same proceedure

A shot of everything mounted in place

Yesterday I put the wheels back on. I greased all the Dexter EZ Lube hubs first. I got some chrome acorn lugs to keep the stud threads in better condition. They also look pretty sharp

It is going to be time to hop back inside to work again soon so I leveled up the trailer. I had picked up two of the Andersen-3604 Camper Levelers. All I can say is they are worth every penny in my mind. Leveled the trailer alone in about 3 minutes including going to read the 4' level I put on the floor a total of 6 times to read both directions.

The levelers placed to use

And leveled. My driveway has more slope than I thought

I also picked up a cover for the spare to protect it and keep everything going white like it is. Here is the trailer ready for the next steps.

More to come soon....

This one might be my favorite build on the forum. The exterior, size, and features sure are! Love that window. Tongue box and propane bottles perfect. Spare tire mount: perfect. Quality all around. A/C.

Adam,
Have you gotten any more work done on your CTC this week? I'm getting cabin fever in this dang hospital, and I have ordered so much stuff in the meantime. I also thought up a few more ideas for my CTC.
