By now you've probably found out that a #2 Roberson (square bit), will work just as well as
a fancy-schancy 8 point bit.

Haha yes I did figure that out after wasting 45 minutes trying to find the damn bit at home cheapo. You live and you learn!

Ha! Took me a couple trips to the hardware store then a couple hours with the grinder cutting straight grooves before I happened upon the square bit trick in a forum when I couldn't get the grinder to one of the heads.

I mounted to the plywood per an e trailer install video. As it's stabilizing I felt comfortable doing it that way. I also need to paint the underneath with some marine based paint

E track bed installed. Will move it up a foot or two as my wife pointed out that we will need to throw our camping rubber maids underneath the bed. I will keep some etrack in the current location to strap the cargo in when en route to our camping destinations. It's all coming together and ready for a trail run soon.

How long is it from the rear door to the edge of the side door? Nice seeing the counter top up front. We are looking at that exact same trailer to do ourselves with a queen ish sized bed elevated over two individual beds under it on each side for the boys.
Really looking forward to the pictures of your build and things you learn along the way.

I haven't measured but it's probably a little less than 10 foot.

Scomi,
Your build is coming along nicely... Keep it up!
Question: what size and brand is your mattress/bed? I like it and want to see about getting some for my trailer.
