Nice Job and thanks for the videos.
I think the pump may be so loud because you have mounted it to the wall and it is "resonating". From the video, it sounds almost like the Aluminum skin is picking it up and amplifying? That is really loud and guess it is not that loud when not attached to the wall. You might try mounting it on the floor and make sure to use some good vibration isolators... something that does not resonate with the pump?
My pump has the vibration isolators built in to the feet (I think most do), but they need to be horizontal and the screws should not clamp them down so as to compress them. When they are mounted vertical and/or tightened to compress.. the vibration isolator may not perform as intended and transmit the vibration and possibly resonate depending on the particular area.
