Thanks for the tip.
When I went out the next morning, I was surprised the wood soaked it all up.
So I poured another coat. Used a heavy duty heat gun. Wasn't as many bubbles. Seemed to work well .

It's dry now. Not glass smooth but has some shine to it.

Planning the next step . Getting the sink to work.
I have a question or two .

# 1.) Can a hand pump sink be rebuilt , new o-rings ect ?
I have a hand pump spout. Not sure it works.

# 2.) If I have to replace it. What is better
A foot or hand pump.
I've heard hand pumps can leak.

I may hit up state trailer tomorrow .ImageImage

Finished the countertops and installed the sink.
This sink I picked up years ago from someone parting a trailer out.
I really liked the Moab red look.

Framed in the V-nose/headboard with 3/4x1.5" .
Used 1/8" Luann to cover the rest.
Made the top panel removable .

Started on the porta potty enclosure.

Thanks.
Nice warm day, I couldn't wait to get off work .

Picked up some trim. Cut and painted it white. Finished the V-nose with carpet under the trim and under the bed.

The list is getting smaller.

Found this lightweight medicine cabinet at Lowe's for $14 . It was in a unmarked box.

Finally get to mount the paper towel roller.
I've had this for years. Was for the teardrop but never fit right, so it never got mounted.
Till now.
Lil bungee cord keeps it rolled tight.

Trailer is DONE !

Pic #1.)
Finished up the toilet compartment.
Also drilled some holes for future plumbing and cut out a notch for the foot pump .

Masked and finished painting the doors.

Went to work and sewed up the foam mattress cover.

The last memory foam mattress I had weighed a lot. So I decided to go a different route. I wanted something a bit more lightweight.

I ordered a sheet of 4" polyurethane foam with a medium density and some 2" closed cell pad. (Polyethylene)
(We cut it up for the power company and they use it for knee pads)

Black closed cell pad in hand.

Foam cover on.

Grabbed some levelors for the windows. Had Lowe's cut em down. They block alot of light.

New sheets on and grabbed our pillows.
They seem much smaller in here than the teardrop.

I couldn't leave well enough this afternoon so I started making the slide out drawer.

For the most part , it's done.
This winter I'll be adding shore power and other things as well.

Thanks guys.
Cant wait to go camping.

Today I finished up the sliding drawer and the bedding arrived. We must have looked at a hundred different comforters .
Wanted something to break up all the grey and add some pop. Mostly I let her pick it.

It's all ready to move into.

Nice job Modstock! That went pretty darn quickly. Looks great in there. Hope you get a chance to enjoy it soon. That comforter really does pop in there. I bet you'll wake up in a good mood everyday.

Took it on its first trip. Yep, already.

Making coffee inside is the best.
