About to take the plunge.

I would love to build or buy a teardrop. however, I now have two little girls who will be traveling with me. So, my plan is to convert a small cargo trailer, 6x12 or 7x14, depending on what the wife wants.

I will add AC and a bed across the back for the girls, and camp on the floor. I'm planning a counter in the nose, with a closet for an emergency potty. The rest will be stocked with camping gear as I already have a ton of that kind of stuff.

I read a while back about someone having issues getting in to RV parks because of some kind of certification. Has anyone had an issue being allowed to camp?
