Any one out there have an unusual tongue box? Was thinking of putting one on my trailer, but can't help to think there are better options then the store bought ones.

Decriptions are welcome but pics are desired.

Thanks

I am building one on my trailer to reduce wind from slaming into my flat front.

I am thinking of doing something like jplock did here only I will not have all that meat inside. I plan to keep my spare tire in there and batery firewood and heavy things nomrally caried in the tronk.

it you look at those trailer on the Hall of Fame you will see several boots/trunks.

I did think of a box like Mary K and it is wind resitant but not tall enough for my tire unless I layed it down.

Nice job Mike!

I like the way it follows the front curve. I will have to think about building one like that for mine. Thanks for the idea.

I would be very surprised if fitting a tongue box had any benefit for that.

Here is a pretty crappy first try....I'm rethinking this....

I thought a square box, dado'd, rounded and stripped would match the build nicely...

Not too bad at first glance...

Just fits the Honda EU2000

Looks like a wart sticking out of the front...who built this thing!!

I've been playing around with ideas and still can't come up with something that will "fit" NAPSACK. I'm going to work on some mock ups tomorrow -- we'll see how that goes! I want to house my spare tire/wheel in there now that I have new wheels. Philip

Here is mine. A similar shape, but with the rear side flat might work with yours.Image

How is it hinged? at the top? at the bottom? it looks like there are some clips on the side....any closer shots....open/interior?
