Window Supplier

Postby Cmdr » Thu Sep 11, 2008 11:28 pm

Hello,
To Everyone....I'm in the process of looking for windows for my "Weekender" trailer...My walls will be aprox. 1/2 thick. Can anybody make any recommendations for placing windows in the doors? Possibly a complete unit or ????? :worship:
Thanks, Commdore

Need to leave room for a shotgun rack below it?

My windows (came with) are tinted, and I like that.

Cmdr,

Often the best door window deals are from Grant at Teardrops.net. He's the best I've ever dealt with. He's a source for hurricane hinges for the galley lid also. He will cut them to any length for ya.

I suggest that you make your doors thicker than 1/2 inch. They will warp that thin. Mine were 1/2 inch with 7 veneers and they still warped. I ended up stiffening them with 5/8 inch solid wood around the windows epoxied to the plywood.

Best wishes,

Prem

Prem,
Thanks for the assit....I've got them on my supplier list....Plan to use 3/4" plywood for the sides for thickness and strength.
Thanks, Cmdr
