Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

roofs

Postby wtcreaux » Sun Sep 12, 2010 6:11 pm

Have seen flat roofs and rounded. I would think that rounded would leak less (drain the water better).

Have also seen seamed (on the flat). Do some mfgs use seamless??

Some trailers have rounded fiberglass to nose.

What are your obsevations, experienes, regarding roof styles and materials??

Thanks
william

I have a seemless round roof CT made by Haulmark. It also has the fiberglass nose. I have not had any problem with either. I would look for the seemless roof no mater what brand. You are correct that a seemless going to much better than anything else as far as leaking.

I've seen seamless as a special order line item (additional $$$) on several trailer vendors' web sites.....
