Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Weight

Postby drcurran » Fri Oct 15, 2010 3:23 pm

I don't know where best to post this, but maybe someone here can help. An 18' Starcraft TT, any guess about weight. I asked the seller and he said 7000 lbs. That seems like alot. Thanks for the help.

A 2010 Starcraft Autumn Ridge, 22.5' long (smallest on the website) weighs 3,895 lbs and has a GVW of 6,000 lbs.

All trailers have a data plate on the side of the tongue. Your GVW will be listed there - just ask the seller to look at the numbers. But looking at Starcraft's website, they have a listing from '08: http://www.starcraftrv.com/starcraft_tr ... tions.html
so the guess at the 7K GVW is pretty close depending on the model.
