My Cargo is Now painted

Postby glamoree » Mon May 02, 2011 1:21 am

Just picked up my 5x8 Cargo Conversion from a small local shop who painted it. Overall job is good and I am happy with it. Also my new Coleman Vintage Cooler fit like a glove in the galley. I'd take this CTC camping anytime now. Let's Go!!
New pics are in my album.

The Lantern, the green stove and the coleman cooler the back of your CT looks like what's under my workbench in the front garage, I have them all.

Good job on your trailer don't know what color it was before, but it looks great now.

I attended the first and second grade in Williamsburg KY way back in the first half of last century.

good job here's your

Wow what a small world, thanks...the trailer was white and the cooler, stove and other odd and ends I just have been picking up because I thought they were cool.

My blue trailer was one of those with silver colored screw heads outside blue painted sheet metal. Paint was no need, but it came to mind how one would approach repainting that.

Can't tell from your pics, but were there screw heads that you had to paint?

Yes the screw heads were painted, they seem to be okay. I will let you know if they peel, my guy did lay the paint on thick.

When we painted airplane cowlings sometimes we would paint the screws already mounted in the cowling sometimes we would paint them seperate.
painted ones mounted would only remain smooth until the first annual inspection when all the covers were removed. but they looked good for a year.
