Shed Windows?

Postby Partsman » Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:26 am

I was looking at this site http://www.atlanticshed.com/14x21J.htm
and was thinking these window would be neat on a conversion.
I want mine to look like a cabin on the inside.
Should fit between the uprights too.

Do you think they would all break the first time I hit a pothole?

We ordered our jalousie windows for our TD from that very company. We're really happy with our windows thus far...hope you have the same good experience with them:

I use them also. Six years and many potholes later they are as good as new.

Great news!
I really want a "house" type window not a trailer window.

I went to a mobile home parts store and found 14"x11" windows, I think $30 each with no problems.

I used shed windows on my cargo trailer. I found they were the same as old mobile home windows.
Zipped screws all around with a bit of rope caulk. I then went around the edge with silcone inside and out. No problems and don't expect any.
I found that RV windows were too expensive for my CTC. I'm budget minded. shrugs

These are the windows I actually have on my shed. I am very pleased with them, the construction, price and Atlantic Shed as a company.

I got a reply from them today.

"Thank you for your interest in our products.

Our windows have been use in many different applications, sheds,
barns, garages.

They have been purchased by small trailer builder and boat buildings.

I think if they hold up on a boats, they will hold up anywhere.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for considering Atlantic Shed for your construction project"
