I have one of these in my garage, with the mounting bracket, came with my old teardrop. Gonna figure a use for it on the Cargo. 8)

Thinking about making the bed a Queen size, make the shower opening bigger and add closet up front. Also want to do the truck box on the fender under the awning area for outside storage/cooking. Wife wants to turn the ramp into a deck to sit on too. Not too many things so far. Might take it out local this weekend for a day to local park. :?

PLEASE tell me there is a way to get real Scepter Jerry cans in the US!

A quick google search tells me that Princess Auto is a Canadian company, and previous research indicates that suppliers are unwilling to send these marvelous fuel cans (that actually work) south of the boarder due to CARB regulations. Because it is MUCH safer and better for the environment to spill a few cups of gas each time you attempt to use the "safe" CARB compliant cans rather than allow a little vaporized fuel to escape using these terrible horrible rotten obviously unsafe (since they don't say "CARB compliant") Scepter Jerry cans that OUR OWN MILITARY USES!

Not that I'm bitter or nuthin.

Seriously, is there a way? Legal or "otherwise"? Do I need to drive to Canada and "NEED" a Jerry can there, buy it and return with it?

Those are all either metal or CARB compliant plastic. I probably sound like a "Jerry can snob" but the plastic Scepter Military Fuel Can (MFC) is roundly considered to be the best.

You just have to use the full advantage of the internet. Searching Ebay yielded these results:

Oh and speaking from experience having used these, you'll definitely want the "donkey dick" since they're not vented.

aaaand back on topic ;)

the threads and fittings I used on the honda generator & scepter gas can.

Was just a quick fit from Home Depot supplies - I will be redoing shortly with better fittings & quick connects

also, some data from camping in it much this past week

An electric 700 watt heater kept my trailer quite warm down to -5. I have not spent much time in it being colder than that yet.

Still super awesome & super happy with it!

That's -5 celcius so mid 20's Fahrenheit?

I've slept in it down to about 0 as well for a few nights a coupe, weeks ago. Was uber warm in bed with a down comforter but getting out of bed took some oomph ;)

Hiflyer, Howdy;

Thanks. Had a similar experience this past June in the West Yellowstone
area. Mid to high 20's and 30's at night (F), removes the need for the 2ed.
cup of coffee in the morning. Still have the 2ed. for warmth, not for alertness.

A little further on scepter gas cans

https://dstactical.com

They stock a much wider variety of scepter cans and accessories than princessauto
