Spent the weekend at Ginnie Springs in North-ish Florida a few weeks ago. Lost a wheel bearing on the way back. So it's sitting about an hour from me at a friend's house until I find the time to get back over there and fix it. Thankfully, it's a double axle so i could keep going once pulling the hub off. And luckily, Ginnie has ambiguous rules on toys, so my Rhino was at home. Otherwise it would have been an exceedingly slow 130 miles, instead of just a slow 130 miles. :roll:

Took mine on it's maiden voyage this last weekend. It was great for it's first time! Just need to get all the little things buttoned up on it now.

Howdy All;

As I've yet to purchase mine I've just been doing the paper
drawings, spec. checking, pricing, and the rest of the multitude
of 'pre-purchase' steps ... :NC I coulda swore that the top step
was in sight just awhile ago :thinking:

Camped in it for four days and finally got around to mounting my Stowaway TV antenna on the front.

Extended the drain for the sink to the back edge of the teardrop. I don't like laying on the ground at a campsite, reaching as far as I can reach to attach a hose to the drain. Now I'll just have to unscrew the cap and put my 5 gallon collapsible grey water jug under it.

Almost ready for the CRA!!!

Attended a friend's wedding and camped out on their ranch property. Free accommodations, and our bed was stumbling distance from the reception!

Put it on craigslist, and then reconsidered and deleted the ad. This was initiated after I crashed on my motorcycle last sunday, got mad and decided to put it up for sale, thinking I wouldn't need the toy hauler any more either. I'm keeping the trailer but still selling the motorcycle. Anyone near boise looking for a nice 96 KLR?

the week of the 4th we were at a campmeeting in Albany, NY. while there are small cabins there, it was nice to have our own private bedroom just outside, while the kids slept in the cabin. It was also very nice to have the cabin and TD air conditioned as it was in the 90's for most of the week.

This past weekend we celebrated our 14th anniversary with a trip to Cape Cod, MA. It was my wife's first visit to the cape and we had a great time. We left the kids with my parents so the van stayed there also, it was nice to be able to tow our "camper" with the Focus. Every one else at the campground either had huge trucks and SUV's for towing, or was sleeping in a tent. It was nice to have a hard sided camper for the nights it got down into the 50's and the night it poured! 8)
besides the two boats on the roof of the car, we also had both bikes inside the TD. We still got 22 mpg fully loaded and doing the speed limit (65), can't imagine the fuel bill for those monster trucks and campers from CT and NY... :shock:

I camped for 5 nights at the Atwood Lake Campground near Mineral City, Ohio for the first annual Little Guy Rolling Home "Tearstock" Rally. Fun!! Loved the factory tour, loved meeting the owners, the workers and seeing the caring attitude of the entire organization. I definitely plan to return for the next one.
