I drilled some holes today and missed hitting any joists . But now I have to figure out how I'm going to enclose the shower/toilet. RV dealer hasn't called to say they have my parts so I might weather permitting - server storms forecasted head there tomorrow.

I had wanted to go camping even rustic this month but -not happening. RV dealer had parts. But I need a few more pieces to hook it up and I'm broke till September. I did load cycle and kayak to see how they'd fit. Looks like it will work out.

There is a local guy (Dennis) trying to save old campers. I offered him some parts, he came by today and bought some. So I had to spend the money on my toy hauler camper. I bought an interior battery box. I got a gift card from a neighbor and ordered a new cord and twist lock plug. I'll give the old to Dennis, when I get the new cord.
I built a divider/wall for front of TAZ. I didn't think about getting it in the trailer. So I had to cut it down to get it in! Now I'm not sure it I even want it. The nice holes I drilled for holding tank shower combo had to be cut out bigger so fittings would have "play". Slow really slow progress.

You've come a long ways in a relatively short time and on a limited budget. That's something to be proud of. Really. It looks like you are in the home stretch now and we are at the end of the season, so you have the off season to finish it out. Next year should be nothing but fun. Enjoy that.
It's great that you are helping the "New Guy" out. Remember when you were the new guy?
Keep pluggin" along. You got this.

I got professional help today! One of my house builders came over and did my cut outs. I just didn't trust myself, with cutting my siding.
So I have

Padilen wrote:I bought a "buss bar" all negatives will connect to it and it will be connected to battery. Battery will be grounded to frame. AC will be grounded to frame also, I'm my case that's an aluminum frame. Is that correct? I also want to know if I can use the same contact point for AC &DC or should I separate ?

I should have wrote this down when I bought wire. cause I'm short this wire.
Also the terminal block I bought for positive is crap. Just connecting wires from PD4045 I broke 2. I looked at the rest and they break at a seam or mold line. I'm waiting on my friends crimp tool to get my AC grounded and my DC hooked to battery and grounded.
I'm pasting this to my build thread.

I also use red and black wires. That's how I learned and I already had black and red wires. I will use what I have to save money. My AC ground is Black -this I might change to bare- to lessen confusion. I'll check out prices to see if it's cheaper for me to buy bare and use the black wire for my negative DC buss bar to my battery.
