Hi and Thank-you
I'm sure your right. It's a lot of work to scrap- properly a trailer. Id hoped to have a tank and save 100$. And other parts, making the work pay off. Having a body that doesn't work right makes me wish I never considered another tear down.
I'll get over it give me a day or so.

Shower unit is junk too. The plywood used for reinforcement between layers of fiberglass is rotten.

Sorry to hear about your luck with the salvage parts, I was hoping to do something similar. Oh well, "Onward Thru The Fog"

Thanks
I really wanted that type of bathroom. Not sure I'll spend any more time and money on shower combo. But maybe!!! That flex seal on the back and fusion paint on the front. Fiberglass patches on bottom, and bad corner. 12.99 flex seal and 5.99 fusion paint ? Don't think it's worth it. Plus all new seals, if available.

Took the sink that was given to me from a " popup" into RV dealer for a strainer basket. It a deep single sink. Walked in an the guy says I don't have one for a bar sink! I thought it was to deep- so I wasn't surprised. But he did have one that will work. Cheap faucet looks over sized but it's light. The one I was given by the guy that gave me the sink fits better but is painted ivory.

New water tank is good!
Also re-checked the plywood supports on the shower/toilet/tank combo. It's not rotten. It must be oiled? Or something before they do the fiberglass.
So if anyone wants it- it does need to be refinished/refurbished it's free in Michigan.

My friend struck out on getting parts for his idea of a lift bed. Since he's up for a day or 2 we're going into Cadillac to see what we can get.
Another set back.

We went hunting for parts today for his Idea. Got a lot on his list for $30.00. So I'm not out a lot if it doesn't work.
Edit actually it was 40$ but 10$ was new stuff I can return.

Padlin,
Funny you should mention ordering the shower pan. I am at the point where I need to order one also.
What are you thinking about? I think this is the lowest price I can find for a 24" x 36" one. $70 plus $20 shipping for me.

I'm thinking of only partial walls to. Maybe one full hight or/and shower curtain surround.

I like the concept. That type was on my original plan, but I scrapped it for something simplier since the only time I will use the potty is for my wife at night. So a portable one is in the plans for me. Good luck with your plan.

It's not the potty that's my main need it's the shower. I need one in am and pm - just short hot splash. I have sinus issues and arthritis the hot water helps both. At first I was going to use porta potty- just a shower pan. Then the pickup camper combo. This is as close to the pick-up camper combo as I can get. I'm hoping with the bottom drain I can just hook up to a portable tank too. I got this nifty drain for my sink today too.
