We just picked up our 7x18 with 3 ft vnose from diamond cargo. We had them put the tire box in the floor a Rv door and the slant v nose.
Here's the layout, starting the wiring and insulation tomorrow.
Next on the list is a thin Luan board on ceiling
In no particular order
Install two cabinets on left side by the tire door.
Buy/install fridge between two cabinets
Install two windows
Install the water inlet/eletric inlet
Build shower
Build countertops over two cabinets/fridge
Install sink in countertop
Install fresh and gray water tanks
Figure out plumbing
And install a desk I bought off Ebay
Make a bed that lifts into the ceiling??
Finally paint everything

I've basically got all the insulation in, finished more after this pic. Should finish the Luan board on ceiling tomorrow, next will be fresh and gray water tanks as soon as they arrive. I'm considering building my own cabinets can someone point me in the right thread on cabinet building please.

I haven't installed a shower pan. But I've scraped a lot of trailers. They have a "cleat" for the pan edges to rest on.

Would you happen to know what the black part on the bottom of my shower pan is for? It's impossible to find a drain (at the big box stores) it seems none of the drains threads are long enough. On the bottom there are say 30 of these "bubbles" that hold the pan up I was thinking of cutting three of the "bubbles" near the drain that way the longest drain I could find would fit? Any idea if that would suffice?

Id don't think I'd cut anything-yet. I'm not sure what you mean either. Can you post a picture? The only thing I can think you mean is you are adding the 3/4 floor into your thread length? If so the flange nut tightens to the shower not the floor. So you cut a bigger hole in floor.

Give us a bunch of pics of that pan BEFORE you cut it. Its possible you have a combo pan?

Sorry guys I clearly didn't look at the bottom of the pan well, I've got just enough room to install the 2" drain I purc at lowes. It does look like there will be a bigger hole in the trailer floor then I intended.
I bought the shower pan off ebay for what I considered cheap.

Thanks padilen, I've got the shower drain figured out. We finished all the insulation minus a few panels where I need to run a few more wires. All the Luan board is now finished. Got to start the final trim work on the ceiling. The two tanks came in today so that's next on the list.

Nice. Since I'm very limited on funds my build is slow. So I'm reading others threads.

I would recommend getting the tire box in the floor, luckily I have plenty enough room for my optima and possibly a second later on. I've read that I won't have to vent the optima battery. I've put an in line fuse mere inches from the battery. This + will go up into the cabinet where the battery shutoff switch will be installed.

Up next is the big emergency window. Whew I don't know if I can cut a hole in this beautiful trailer.
