I'll be staying at a campground at the beach. They advertise free Wi-Fi, but it is really iffy. I hope taking my own will let me check emails etc.

rebapuck, Howdy;

Unless the Campground has "repeaters" set-up around the campground and absolutely NO ONE
decides to stream a movie or go on a viewing binge, you'll need to be very close to their broadcast
point. Most WiFi is measured in square footage not lineal distance (feet, yards etc.). I needed one of these
http://www.jefatech.com/product/RV-KIT- ... --USB.html
just to get a signal that was transmitting from 100yds away. So, ... being as I'm a permanent full-timer I got
hard wired and a modem. Then I shared my signal with some good neighbors that are due to return to do their
Winter Prospecting in this area.

The Wi-Fi is suppose to be broadcast from all the washrooms. You can sit right outside and not get anything. I also have only a flip phone, so I check email with my Kindle Fire. The hot spot is free(loan) so I will give it a try. Only problem is this library has no way to reserve one for a specific time. Just hope my name comes up before I leave.

Today, I finally got my tub surround done. yeah.. easier to shower now...
Sure was a pain figuring out how to reinforce it enough to be usable from my tub only install earlier.

Sweet!
If you find you need more stability, you might try wire/cables and turnbuckles on diagonals. I had to use them on my shower surround to keep it square, I have a door that swings, so all must be kept square.

Yesterday I added a precise cut closet rod to the top left side. screwed threw the shower rod holder into the closet rod. That gives the sturdiness I needed. on the camper wall I added a smaller L bracket. It's really sturdy now. The right shower wall was already very sturdy.

The closet rod gives me a place to hang coats or other items over the inside fold up chairs that go in that space.
Later I'd like to put those chairs else where and add in a water tank to 12v on-demand pump for boondocking.

Larry,

 :applause:  I like your tub & shower installation! The size of the tub & shower look just right to what I'm trying to design. Could you say what size the tub is please?

Take care,
Tom

The tub is 24"x40"Parchment color. I got my tub about a year ago and they don't have that particular model on the site now... I got it from Camping World on Ebay. LOL

The shower surround (24'' x 40'' x 58'' One-Piece Tile Surround - Parchment)
I ordered from Camping World Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/222040344153?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Today I took the plunge and ordered a Carefree Pioneer RV Awning -- 15' Black and Grey with Black WG (complete with arms <black> ).
shipping was a not cool though.
I've been needing this, just hated to pull the trigger. $429 before shipping.

Did you figure out how you would mount it with your side window so close to the roofline?

Btw.. can you send me a link for the awning? I need one the same size and I am ready to install at any time now. Thanks.
