plunging on another build

It's not that the boat is big but I don't want to put it inside. Already have a golf cart going inside. The winch is to make it easier to load it up there. Sometimes we take a boat and don't get a chance to use it. This way (plan is) if we don't use it, it's not going to be in the way or have to be carried in and out of the camper during our stay. We just have to move it forward to free up our "sitting area". lol

Sure, I'll have a GFI receptacle. I have already put one on the side.

You are making great progress. Sounds like you will be ready for a maiden voyage soon. Way ahead of me. It is hard to find time to focus on the build ... but I am trying. My goal is to finish by July.

Larry, when you cut the holes for your windows, what did you use to cut and did you leave up the interior siding to cut through both at the same time. I am planning on using a jigsaw with a blade for metal/wood and cutting both at the same time, then taking off the interior siding after so I can weld the window frame supports and then insulate and caulk. Thoughts?

What I do is Mark where I want the window from the inside and draw it out with a square measuring from the ceiling line if I can.
Then I drill a half in hole and cut it out with short metal or wood bit. ( I like metal as it leaves a better cut) Using a jigsaw. Then I use a ice pick (LMAO) and punch my four corners. The reason I use a Ice pick is I can set a string level on it and get a good tight fit on where it will be on the outside. Then When I go outside I can see the 4 corner marks and just need to take a large square and draw it out again. Putting Blue painter's tape on the outside and inside of the cut for the jigsaw to slide over seems to work best for me. I've put 10 windows total (8 on my two campers and two for a friend) and haven't had a problem yet.

Yep that upper deck is extra stable. I think it'll work for holding out small boat and some gear.
Occassionally, we may want to take a stool or two up and sit and enjoy the sites. especially at the beach without ever getting in the sand.

It appears that my current plan on the RV tub is going to have to be nixxed for now. There's a metal frame tube 2" wide that runs about 1/4 inch off beneath where the tub drain has to go. If I move it inwards I won't have width room for the Golf cart or boat inside. First trip is now 17 days and counting down. ARGH!!
Have I said yet that I hate doing plumbing??

Build a subfloor 6 inches up and plumbing goes under there. I have to do this in my CTC to get a p trap in prior to dropping on the gray water tank.

That looks interesting. My issue is that my shower pan is not over the gray water tank and I need a little elevation change to let gravity work. That being the case, I need to build the shower pan up higher then the rest of the flooring. Since I have to do that, the P trap is no problem.

I agree with flboy. Probably your easiest solution is to raise you shower pan up with a false floor. I have used a shower with a slight step up, and it worked fine. Kind of depends on your ceiling height too though. I would fill much of the false floor space with foam to support the pan.
