Thanks Hank.. I should've been more specific.. I was interested in the "store" Larry bought the awning from... The brand is easy to find as you know.

Btw.. can you send me a link for the awning? I need one the same size and I am ready to install at any time now. Thanks.

I purchased mine from this ebay dealer:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/111797641603?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I had already purchased and installed two sections of 8" awning rail that I purchase from http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Awning-Rail-90-degree-p/vts-876.htm $14.99 x2 plus shipping and a tube.

I'm just hoping my "Guesstimate" as to the end of the left side is going to hit that stud just like I plan. Having 16 foot of rail I hope is going to take care of that.

Larry,

That awning looks great! Congratulations. :applause:

I'm curious. How hard was the installation? I was wondering because if I ever get to do a cargo trailer conversion, I'll need to build it a little bit at a time as I have the money to do so.

Take care,
Tom

That's How I been going. This is my second build. The awning install wasn't that bad. Took three of us about 20 minutes to put it on.
+++++++

Got Wife's toilet installed this AM. water lines hooked up. have to test them another day + caulk up the underneath plumbing.
It fit right nicely where I had the referigerator and the counter top. refrig is being moved to back of the camper.

My toilet sewer outlet is nice tight and high underneath. Might have to set a portable tank under there sometimes. Alittle caulk and I'm done.

Hey just wanted to mention a possible issue with a portable tank. Before my axle flip, my portable tank wouldn't fit under my trailer. Also connected by sewer hose the connection into tank was higher than my flush valve. Since mine is a combo toilet/tank (5gallon), I just used my portable to drain my holding tank. After draining I'd remove hose from flush valve first. Lifting it to clear any solids.

I've had a problem like that in the past with the tub/sink sewer exit plumbing. I don't use a holding tank, just the portables.

We camped at the State Fair Grounds the other week. My wife works for the company that was holding a distribution vender show.
I got to test a lot of the things I've added on.

I was wondering how that tacoma handles that size trailer, do you know what the weight of your finished trailer is? Very nice build by the way!

Our Toyota Tacoma pulls this trailer nicely. We did have to go with weight distribution and sway bar(s). Compared to my similar Ford Explorer that barely pulled it home brand new and empty.
I do not know the weight of my trailer, but I'm guesstimating (with golf cart and fishing buggy). To be around 4500lbs. It's probably a bit more.

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to plumb my sink and shower together to a waste gate then drain to a portable holding tank. Could you share some pics and list parts for your exit plumbing/adapter. Thanks!

This is how Jerry did his shower and sink gray water plumbing on his Retro-Kamper: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?p=1067912#p1067912.
