I have been home from the ~3month trip for a few days and I spent some time emptying and deep cleaning the CTC. With Lex now traveling with me, those white walls were taking a beating where she lays and etc.. I took the time today to install the aluminum tread plate along the bottom 18 inches of the paneling. I think it looks nice and will be much easier to keep nice.

I am planning some Monday through Thursday trips ( expect vacancy rate to be higher then) over the next few months to experience Florida's many State Parks. Should keep me busy until I head West in January.

I added some LED background lighting. I found that while staying in a Cracker Barrel, Wal-Mart, or some other overnight parking spot that the blue light provides decent light for the camper when just lounging around watching TV or on the PC or etc.., but are not noticeable outside with parking lot lights on. I can change them to various colors, but blue seems to work best for eyes.

They draw only about 0.5A so a very good light for Boondocking.

I really have to ask. What is it with men and colored lights?

It calms the beast! Aside from that, there is a practical purpose in this case. Blue lights in a parking lot with overhead lights, do not look obvious.

Aha! The candles are because we like them. The lights because you like them.

I vote for the light of an old Coleman lantern... Along with the hissing sound. Gotta have the sound.

That is so yesterday! Lol

I did use them for years before the price of LEDs and rechargeable Lithium battery power lanterns came down.
