Not sure about you.. but I have had enough of being cooped up and being fed doom. Installed the panniers and luggage rack on the dual sport and busting out next weekend for some moto-camping and riding in the trails of the Smokey Mountains. My face mask will be my Helmet! Not taking the CTC... going to keep a low profile and primitive camp off trail. A little more gear to carry that I prefer, but field testing a few configurations until I get the one right for me off bike camping in remote scenarios.

Going to be dragging the CTC out of back yard quarantine later in May as a base-camp for a little more "comfort". Woo Hoo! I hope you all are well . Live to Live, not to Fear! God Bless!

Don't say that! Totally different build for different mission and goals. Your build is awesome! Going to borrow the shock mount idea for sure.

Couldn't help but share.. I met my new travel companion today. She is a German Shepherd dog and will be able to come home with me on May 15 (only 4 weeks old now). So excited. My old friend and confidant Benz passed last summer and I miss him sorely, but now ready for another fur companion. Her name is Lexus. Will be introduced to camping very young.

Thanks. Your new pup looks very nice. Probably got a lot of growing to do. Dogs are the best.

I still remember vividly that guy at the 88 store while looking at your tricked out KTM, said so " whos the money man?" I replied not me brother Im on the TTR!

Brother low key, You cant always watch your six. Call that dog PEDAAS, come here! 8)
Serious if you are leaving the bubble of home for the open road in these times...

Awesome cute puppy. I want one but six cats would not mix well. I will greatly appreciate her while camping with you two.

Thanks Tommy. LOL .. I will call her Lex. She won't be on our trip at the end of May. Lex will be way too young and I'd of only had her two weeks. Probably later in the summer and definitely in fall. She will be locked in the CTC while we are out riding, so I need to make sure I have good ventilation and AC running off inverter/batteries if it is hot outside. She will be a good watch dog and companion. I am going to send her out for resident obedience and etc. training so she will mind off leash and not move unless I give her the okay. After the trainer is done with Lex individually, then I go get trained with her to learn how to handle her and reinforce the training. My daughter's sister in law does this for a living locally, so I should not cost me an arm and leg. Looking forward to the experience.

I look forward to a return to camping soon! End of May for the CTC!

That a boy. I never changed a thing about my routine in the first place, and the more I learn about this crisis, the more I believe its' not the virus we need to be afraid of. Just sayin'.... Hey, good looking pup mister. I'm glad you found a new friend, we just aren't the same people without them. Hope we can all get back to camping and living our lives soon. Have fun and be safe.

I hear you. The medicine appears to have worse side effects than the disease it is suppose to cure.

Had a great ride on the Smokey Mt. 500 last week. I am making a video and will share. Had a lot of rain first day and had a hard time finding places to camp due to Covid-19 closures of NF camp grounds, but forest roads were open. Had freezing Temps at night except last night. I brought a 40f rated sleeping bag, so needless to say, this Florida boy was cold and did not sleep well. The riding was awesome in any case. Did get pulled off at checkpoint coming back intro Fl. for a Covid-19 stop. They just asked me where I'd been since I have FL. Tags. No problem.
