flboy, Howdy;

Gotta agree with McD, you be travelin' with da Ritz.

Ya, bathroom counter space ... #2 & 4 asked why I insisted on separate
sinks with separation between the counter tops. I gave her the short answer,
creepage. She looked at me funny like and so I, of course, gave her the
long version. Told her to think about all the "stuff" on the present counter top
she nods knowingly. I ask, how much is mine? She answers none, you have
that bag for the truck. I ask what do I keep here at home? she says, clippers,
scissors, a bag of disposable razors and a few other things. I asked where they
were and where was my toothbrush? she says, in the cabinet. I say why are they
in the cabinet and not out where I can get to them? She says oohh, ok separate
sinks and counter tops. Watching the light grow behind the eyes as the dawning
of understanding filters itself throughout their mid is a joy to behold at times.
I've only experienced better sunrises at sea.
Creepage is like a creeping vine. A man can watch the spread of her's and the
compacting of his. Careful Don, you'll be sleeping outdoors in a year or 2.

Lol..that's why I have two sinks and etc. In the Master Bedroom at home too. I understand creepage well. It is a reality I've learned to accept and manage over the years. She puts up with me, my many hobbies, and takes good care of me so it is all good on balance and.....my motorcycle still fits in there... so I will take it!

Have a good day Hank.

Got the spare tire rubber replaced to be the same as the Goodyear Endurance tires I recently put on the CTC. Same wheel and etc. now so if I have to replace it on the road, it will stay on and then the repaired tire becomes the spare. The Bed Winch tucks away underneath it nicely.

I ordered this pedestal on Ebay and decided I am going to make a countertop where the second zero gravity chair is on the TV side. It will probably be about 3.5 to 4 ft long and 24 inches wide and butt up to the spare tire.

It will store in the cavity under the bed on the left side of the drop down drawer so it will be more rectangular but should add a lot of counter space in an area not used when traveling solo. Will build it this weekend if all goes as planned and the hardware arrives. I also have an idea that will add 2ft deeper of surface area on the dinette when traveling solo that will allow me to leave my radio gear set up and free up the dinette table for a desk and for eating without being crowded. The platform will fold up when not in use and go in the closet, but rest on the seat up against the closet when being used . Since 75% I travel solo... I have been thinking of some things I'd like that there is not room for when traveling with my wife.

Nice. I wish I had a bigger trailer so I could have some of those nice-ities. But really, I am a simple man. I have simple needs. I have a couple cup holders and ashtrays I made from salvage Harley parts. That's good enough for now. So here is a link to the Sturgis Rider/Buffalo Chip news. They are still going full speed ahead. https://www.buffalochip.com/sturgisridernews#/

We were able to get two zero-gravity chairs into our camper, as well. Being only 6' wide it was kind of a tight fit, but they work. Boy, those chairs are comfy!!

Those chairs are awesome for lounging in the back and watching TV or etc.. . Very comfortable for a fold up chair. I have fallen asleep in them a few times.... not good for a full night's sleep, but great for napping.

Big guys, they break eventually. Try to ease off at stressing the mid points, especially leaning back all the way and getting up.

Yes even the oversize HD ones rating is BS

Everything breaks sooner or later.... I sure like this chair in any case. Had it for a few years with no problems.

Picked up a jack for the CTC ( Amazon of course). I never really had one for it and I found this really nice one that is integrated with a Jack stand. I had never seen one like this before. I am sure it will work better than the one that came with the truck.

I think I will drill a hole and just bolt it to the floor right where it is at. Spare and jack checked off. Those things you carry and hope you do not need to use, but will be glad you had if ever needed.

Ok.. this is what I am thinking. Long table on two legs, and store under bed when not used.

I really got lucky on Ebay. Got both of these shipped for $25.40. Already have wood for table top and paint in the shed leftover from the build... so cheap upgrade.

The legs are upside down in picture. Will be recessed into the floor.

This is where it will store.

Put in a 12VDC subpanel under the appliance stack today.. not like I have anywhere to go... LOL. I had to run power over to connect the bed winch (directly connected on busbar below panel)) and now I can put a few 12vdc outlets to run a fan and the outside 12vdc jack for the macerator pump (flojet) and etc. over tire well. I also put a 50A DC breaker on the main 12VDC busbar in Battery compartment that feeds this via 8ga wire and also protects the winch and wiring.

I run 12vdc over during build for the Stereo and run a switched 12VDC for the water pump which is fused in the main DC panel. But that is all that I had on that side until now.

I took an old battery powered fan I used when tent camping and made it so I can plug into 12vdc jack. This will provide a nice quiet breeze and move the air on those nights AC is not needed, but air needs to move. The fan is a very low current draw also... which is good.
