This is how you tell how much gas you have left when it is dark. Been running for most of the day. This Honda is efficient. :-)

The Weather is bad here. Fence down, trees down, flooding streets, no electric or internet except for cell phpne.... Did not expect this given we were so far away
What a big storm Irma is. Never seen one like this.

Thanks all. Alot of clean-up, but no major damage. Commercial power came on last night. My central HVAC was not working. I did a litlle troubleshooting to find out that the main compressor relay that switches 240Vac to the compressor was toasted. Luckily I had one from a previous repair I did on one of my rental houses. Good spare item to keep.

Power, Air Conditioning, water, food... life is good. :-)... No phone, cable, or internet.. that is annoying.. At work now using thier internet.

Hey Don, brother, friend, :D

Still no power yet. But after all this again I might like to hook up a transfer switch like you did. Approximately how much for the all the hardware to do what you did? Please.

Power cords and power strips everywhere is just bad.

Thanks.

I can share all that with you when we get a chance to talk. It works great. There are alot of options. Power cords and strips work, but are inconvenient. Sorry to hear your power is still out. I have a window AC you can borrow if needed.

We do have a very good window unit so we are ok there but thank you very much. Some time down the near road we can talk about it when all this settles down. Been siphoning gas from the boat but it is tedious and I will improve that set up also in the future. It holds 60 gallons. Just info. I will be in touch. Thanks!
This is wearing me out!

Glad to hear ya'll made it thru safely. Nothing major around here either, mostly just rain and wind, limbs scattered everywhere. We never lost power even though alot in my area did.

Glad you made it through unscathed and that you were prepared to take care of yourself as best you could.

I just had to do it. These AC meters are only about $19.00, so I cut a spot on the transfer switch panel so I can monitor the input voltage, current, and power all at once. I really like the one in the CTC for same purpose.

No power in from generator and it is just blank with no power applied.

Man, looking at these pics, I need to freshen up the paint in that garage. It is a working garage, so maybe not. :-).

Thanks Hank. It is a disease. One of these days I may get some help. They say admitting the problem is the first step.. ;-)
