Hey Don,
There are 3 wires coming off the pump. 2 go to the switch 1 goes right to the battery per instructions. AND GUESS WHAT!

I thought it would be good to ground the switch by tapping into the pump ground wire as there was a green screw on the switch. It is a 120 volt light switch I just wanted to try.

I DO BELEIVE YOU SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

My knee is still pretty bad. I really want to go to Ocala though. They are going up Thursday. I will take it day by day.
Are you still riding DC? Or maybe you were considering Delancey instead? :D

Thanks Don on the switch!

Yes the cooler is awesome. Took it up to Down Town produce and stocked up on quality food. Some ready made meals to make life easier. Did not have to worry about the drive home. Love it!

I am still going to Devils Creek. Going to be great conditions. I leave early Friday and return Monday. 3 nights camping and 2 full days of riding. Going to be fun. 150 people will be there.

Have a great time on your trip. We'll plan another trip soon. Glad the CTC is ready to go this Year.

What is the make and model of the pump.. I can see whats up with the three wires. That seems odd to me as well, but surely there is a reason. That must be for the Auto mode where the float kicks it on unattended, whereas the other is manual on/off?

Not sure what make at the moment.
But the black wire goes directly to the battery ground. The red goes to one side of the switch and the brown to the other. Im sure I hooked up the battery pos wire to the pump pos wire and then to the top screw on the 120 volt switch. Then the brown pump wire to the bottom screw on the switch. Then I hooked up a ground wire from the green ground screw on the 120 volt switch to that black pump wire that goes to the battery ground directly.

I believe the instructions made no mention of grounding the switch but I thought how could I go wrong.

That is what I did.
If the switch works like on the boat, the pump will not only come on automatically but will come on when you flip the switch.
But I had to disconnect it.

I got it. Just LOOK at the damn directions man. I was tired at the end yesterday. My knee. I need an MRI, chit!

I did not use a three way switch and I did not wire like it said. I tried to use what I had. But Now I know.

I like the rocker lighter switches like on the boat.

That is what I suspected the circuit would look like with and auto and manual switched power input to the pump with a direct ground. Glad you got it straight.

This should make things easier. Its the same brand as the pump. I chose a toggle over rocker switch. Like the lights. That white thing is a circuit breaker reset I believe.

Will need the ground for that switch only for the indicator lights grounding.

OK Thanks Don. I read the reviews and I think the instructions are back wards. Hope I can figure it out.

Don I am envious of your up coming ride at Devils Creek + camping. Good thing I did not sign up as my knee is very slow to heel it seems. I most likely will not go to Ocala either. I don't want to set myself back any further. May be in a week or two but I will most likely be solo but that's ok.

Any way have fun! Hope you get your bed lift right by then. Bet you will.

Sorry to hear about your knee causing you to miss camping this weekend. My knee is almost 100% now after Lake Delancey. I was lucky it wasn't worse. I'll take some pics.. Got the KTM in tip top shape. I went through everything, adjusted valves, flushed brake lines, etc..

Working on it. Got the wires figured out. Looks retro to me. 8)

This is a rough in of course.

Its high and out of the way. Will be to the left and in front of the shower curtain opening, basically.

The back side is in the toilet area and will not be seen too much but I will try and square it away as best as possible.

I did not notice the plastic coating yesterday. I will peel it off when I take it back out to connect the wires with butt splices. Touch up the stain a bit.

That pump runs fast. Will be fun to see if I like auto or manual. The lights remind me of old sci-fi control boards. :D

Ok, still working it. But this will work very well.

Just one or two more pics below. Maybe what NOT to do.

6x12 trailer. Flushing toilet, shower, stove top, portable refrigerator, freezer, full size mattress/bed ( I think ). Sink. So much more! Hahaa!

I'm getting attached to it.

Just a small 19 inch walley mart smart tv, and acc. maybe.

I want to find stout retractable legs for the bed now, as that was my plan originally.

Ya know,
It's kinda nice how most of the "works" plumbing, elect. etc are located in one area.
And boy, It's come a loonngg way. I remember how proud you looked when you received your toilet a few short months ago.
Doin' good Tommy. And if you get "in the Dog house", well it's a pretty nice Dog house. So you got that goin' for ya.... ;)

Retractable-? Would using a pin still be retractable to you? Either swing up and pin or unpin/pin in place
