Great build!
What bunk beds are those? When closed how much much do they stick out from the wall?
Do you have a picture of them set up?

Thanks!

I got them here. They are the economy twin twin http://www.busrvparts.com/bunks-fold_away.htm
I had to modify the installation to fit over the wheel well by extending the support legs. They stick out about the same as the wheel well.

Finally got my holding tanks mounted and plumbed. Black tank fit between floor joists, but I had to cut part of one out for the grey tank. For both I welded angle to one of the joist and welded brackets for the angle to sit on for the opposite side.ImageImageImageImageImage

I am jealous. This is one of the next things I have to tackle and I am not looking forward to it. Thanks for giving me some hope! :)

I put it off all winter because I was not wanting to tackle it, but once I got under there and started it went fine. The main issue I had was dull drill bits. I decided to use 1/4" stainless bolts to secure the removable rails instead of the self tapping screws the RV industry uses.
Now I get to complete the bathroom since I don't have to take the floor up again.

Nice job on the tanks!!!... I put mine off off long as possible too. Things went faster once they were in and the floor was not to be lifted again.

Going quick now. Got the interior walls up. Still have to install the plastic liner (FRP type stuff) and shower walls. Next is lighting and switch, then the flooring, door and finally outside wall paneling. Man, just when I thought it was about done I see the list of stuff left to do and it never ends.ImageImageImage

AnthonyH, Howdy;

Looks like you've done a very good job with the 'Throne Room' and the shower.
What kind of flooring are you planning to put down or not?

Thanks! I want to put rubber coin roll down so it is waterproof. Need it 9ft wide and 24ft long. Hard to find that without spending a bunch of $$$ so I may go with linoleum.

AnthonyH, if you don't mind me asking where did you eventually find your holding tanks, what size did you go with and the price? I'm going with a 8.5x20 car hauler and my frame is also 2x6 and 2x3 tube steel on 16OC. Thanks Larry

Got them from Amazon. I just had to measure and decide how I was going to do it. Ended up with 15gal black tank the fit between the floor joists and a 38 gal gray tank that I had to cut one of the joist to fit it in. What I cut out I used to go joist to joist at the end of the tank so the floor wasn't soft. I think I showed it in the pictures. I still need to add water tank. To carry what I need I will probably use 2 tanks between the joists over the axles. Currently I'm city water only.

I haven't done an update in a while, mainly because I haven't done much work on it. It was useable the way it was so I was just rolling with it. I finally decided to start the finishing details.
Most recently I worked on the cabinetry. I built face frames from 3/4"x2.5" poplar to go over the 2x2 skeleton. I built two drawers from 1/2" birch plywood and used self closing slides. The opening tension from the slides keep them closed in travel. I made the doors from the same poplar and did 1/4" plywood inserts. Just classic Shaker style. I still need to build upper cabinets. I'll add to this post as I complete them.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
