Hi Icon. Looks like you are using that DPDT as a transfer switch? Just make sure it is rated for the voltage and current properly and that the outlet is grounded and wired such that it will pop a GFCI breaker if that switch shorts out. I'd be a little nervous with that due to size and arcing potential, all metal casing, etc.. Maybe find a DPDT light switch rated for 115 VAC 15A use ( and maybe that switch is fine.. I don't know) or get an autotransfer switch that senses the genny input. Just asking because if not right, you may get a suprise one night while getting ready to take a shower. Don't want that. Electricity can kill if you are the easiest path to ground.

I hope I am ok, the switch is rated for 20 amp @ 125 volts AC. I was concerned about the close proximity to the metal box so I wrapped the switch connections in a few wraps of electrical tape. I would love a regular wall switch but man are they expensive. $43 is the cheapest I have found. I will have to keep my eye out for a used one or something. I did a continuity test between the box, frame, and a few places and I appear to be grounded. I should probably put a little more thought into a gfi. Suppose I will if I get zapped and survive. :frightened:

Got the tv mounted. I used some 1/4" X 1" aluminum to make mounting bars. The bottom pic
shows the top of the bars. The bottom of the bars are slit to slide over the screws, this keep them hid.
The screws into the tv are countersunk allowing the bars to mount flat against the wall. I can't believe
I didn't get a pic before I mounted them but I didn't. The usb port you see in the first pic is plugged into
an Android tv stick that is plugged into the tv's hdmi port. Slick little units, this one is a few years old, the new ones,
like I've listed below are even better. I can put a bunch of movies on a nerd stick and everything is all compact and tidy.
Also got internet if wifi is available. They basically turn your tv into an Android tablet. Also need to look into those wifi amplifiers.

It all looks really nice! Almost done?

Btw, that 360degree vent appears to have resolved the black tank odor issue. Thanks for the idea.

I am glad the 360 siphon is working for you. I still need to install mine.

Sounds like a good "punchout" list. I actually made one. I still have final interior paint and some trim to do after using it for a little over a year. The white on all the beadboard is still the white primer that comes on it. I will do the final paint and trim this summer sometime..

I have a few projects to complete for the Mrs. before I will get back to it. I am in the process of building and 8*20 ft deck on the back of the house and a purgola over it for vines and etc. to grow. I had better get that done first. :-) Never built a purgola before. Should be interesting. :-)

I am kind of excited about this project being done. It was kind of a wild Idea but I think it worked.
I started by ordering a couple pieces of tempered glass, and a couple sets of glass hinges, and building
3 little bars that I mounted to my chair rail.

Put it all together and it is my fold down table/tables. If you are having a hard time seeing them, then they are doing their job.
I didn't want to hide the wall with an ugly table.

Tables in the up position. Built braces that slip in from underneath.
Front table is 32"x14" back table is 24"x14"

Too Cool! You always amaze me with your creativity, style and awesome skills. Well done, Sir.
I remember having a coffee table that was a thick piece of glass set on a cypress stump. It was really beautiful but for some reason I couldn't stop banging my shin on the glass when I walked by. I knew it was there but I couldn't judge where the edge was because of the angle. We put coasters and magazines at the edges and that helped.

Maybe this illustration will help. I photoshoped (Corel) the hinge from the link I posted.
Of course the hinge is upside down but it shows that all I did was drill a hole to slip the
solid post on the hing into the bar. The hinge post just rotates in the bar.

some really clever stuff going on in this build. Looks like it is all coming together really well.

Do you happen to have any pictures of your water heater vent pipe exit on the outside of the trailer? Still trying to decide on my water heater. Before you mentioned what you had I dismissed that style because it used 120v. But now seeing how little power they actually draw it might be my favorite option using a small inverter.
