Screen for the rear ramp door

Postby tanukihimself » Tue Apr 04, 2017 8:23 pm

I need a screen of some kind for the rear ramp door on my 7x14. I don't know the exact dimensions without going out to measure but surely some of yall have experience with some. I want it to be sturdy anf last for a long time. I like the mesh stuff that zips up so we can go in anf out of it

You can make one. Buy window screen 4 feet wide. Find a tarp zipper at the home center, it's like duct tape with a zipper in the center. Stick two 4ft screens together to make one 8ft wide. Trim and attach to the trailer opening. Tada! I've used duct tape to edge common window screen and it worked out great. The duct tape must be on each side so it sticks to itself through the screen. I think the screen should be screwed or attached securely to the sides but the top would be nice to have on a rod or cable so each side could be slid out of the way for loading.
