I used contact cement apply to the wall and the back of the carpet, worked my way up from the bottom to the top. I love the look and feel of carpet would do the same thing again.66566

3M 30NF Fastbond contact adhesive on the wall and ceiling surfaces. It is non flammable and has less toxic fumes to the user. It can be brushed or rolled on; I rolled most of it, using a brush only in hard to get at corners. It tends to soak into cloth a lot though so I used the 3M spray can on the material backing. I used what is known as hull-liner, not regular carpet. Hull-liner is like an indoor / outdoor carpet but does not have the rubber backing like carpet.

The 30NF is much nicer to use inside confined spaces. The solvents in the standard contact cements are too dangerous for my liking. I sprayed the material in the garage, on the floor over cardboard, with doors open.

I've always thought it POSSIBLE to bring an actual couch on a camping trip. But that's the first I've seen it. I think Everyone's entitled to some piece of luxury. Would that one be yours

I just hung the carpet on the plywood walls with a few screws and it works fine and can be removed in about 5 minutes too.

I just used self-stick squares. We'll see how well it lasts over the long haul.

Howdy All;

Just one question for all you carpet on the walls folks.

Who's gonna vacuum the walls to keep them clean?
